Jack Straws Baskets has just won another award for our Event Shows.
Jack Straws Baskets was at the Brecon County Show at the weekend and won an award as the Best Non Agricultural Trade Stand!
It is August, and the shows are flat out for summer. Last week it was Burwarton on Thursday – always a good show, well organised. Then onto Tenbury and Brecon for Saturday with Herefordshire Country Fair at Caradoc for Sunday to finish the weekend.
All were well attended and the Brecon crew scooped the First Prize for Non Agricultural Trade stand. So we must be doing something right!
Now a new week ahead and the rapid pace continues with the Wonderland Market at Stratford upon Avon, Waterside on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, whilst the main unit goes to Ashover for Wednesday the 8th.
Then onto Nottingham Food Fair for the weekend of the 11/12th. No rest for the other unit as it goes to Canwell Show on Saturday and then onto Fillongley for their Sunday show.
In the midst of all this activity further good news – we have been accepted for Burghley Horse Trials, probably the most prestigious event in the Horse Trials calendar!
We will be there from the 30th August until the 2nd September with the largest range of basketware they have ever seen.
