Jack Straws Baskets has won another award for our stand at the Cheshire Show
The Royal Cheshire County Show is a big county agricultural show that is held on two days in June each year on land west of Flittogate Lane in the Tabley area in Cheshire, England. This year’s event was help last week on the 19th and 20th June.
For 180 years, the Cheshire show has been the premier summertime agricultural event in the North West of England. In 2016 they reached an exciting milestone in their rich history when the honour of ‘Royal’ status was bestowed on the show by the Cabinet Office.
With its roots firmly embedded in farming, the 2018 held many competition classes for cattle, sheep, pigs and dairy goats, but will also include hundreds of classes for light and heavy horses, show jumping, rare breeds of livestock, poultry, pygmy goats, pigeons, cavies, rabbits and dog show.
The Delamere Dairy Main Ring was once again packed with entertainment from the fast and furious pony club games, to majestic birds of prey and of course the spectacular Grand Parade of Champions. 2018 saw the return of the Bolddog Lings to the Delamere Dairy Main Ring. Celebrity chefs Jean-Christophe Novelli and Luis Troyano also made special guest appearances on the stage of the Roberts Bakery Food Live theatre throughout the show.
